Old West - Barkeep NPC

Character design and story variations for a Wild West saloon keeper, featuring multiple versions ranging from a classic old west bartender to a sci-fi cybernetic prosthetic arm variant. Includes detailed facial features, classic mustaches, leather aprons, vests, and period-appropriate clothing with a weird west twist. Built as production-ready concept art reference for video games, western-themed projects, and steampunk or cyberpunk character pipelines.

Diving into more design and storytelling character design for my personal Old West project this week.
It's challenging to design non-hero characters, as protagonist designs are easy to make "cool" as they bring their unique stories to represent through any symbols and graphics--but this presented itself a fun challenge, can't make the guy too hero, and can't make it too boring, at the same time, I have to make it relatable to the role/job it does, while infusing entertainment design as whole, because, it's still a game project.

I used some insights from the theories of Adolf Loos' books, and went agaisnt the stream of how I usually do things - which was exhausting, but rewarding, specially when I got to play with color and story elements, which are always a huge (and specific) message sender.
