Riftwalkers - Explorer / Survivor Character Designs

Riftwalkers is a character concept exploration project focused on a team of contemporary adventurers navigating a world of interdimensional shifts. This sheet presents early iterative design sketches and color exploration for four diverse roles.

We feature (from left to right): a resourceful explorer with field gear, a scientific researcher and journaler, a camera-wielding journalist/botanist, and an experienced traveler. The designs emphasize practical, gear-heavy contemporary apparel (hiking boots, backpacks, bandanas, tactical elements) tailored for survival.

This sheet illustrates the concept development process for modern fantasy and near-future survival game genres.
